ICH ltd have been trading since 1992, and are celebrating 29 years in business this year.

On average excluding subcontractors ICH employ more than 85 people across the UK. In addition the ICH supplier network consists of 400+ personnel. 

The majority of ICH engineers are multiskilled. Most commonly engineers are cross skilled in (NICEIC) electrical services, (GasSafe) Gas and Airconditioning (F-gas).  Due to our facilities management business we also have engineers multiskilled in joinery / building fabric and other FM service lines.

ICH carry £10M Public + Products and employer liability. Copies of updated insurance details are available on request. 
ICH employ a team of 30 management personnel. This consists of a customer service team, a facilities management team, design engineers, account management and customer liaisons. A human resource and health & safety team oversee the day to day operations alongside the directors.
From an emergency call being placed to engineers arriving onsite, the average response to emergency faults is less than 4 hours nationwide. 
ICH runs a relatively flat structure empowering its employees to be able to make quick decisions resulting in a truly reactive service. Customers can speak to senior points of escalation within the business quickly and the business is structured in such a way that teams collaborate effectively. 
ICH year on year maintain in excess of 2000 maintenance contracts. This ranges from small units for SME’s to full facilities management contracts for blue-chip organisations and multi-site estates. ICH manage over 3500 locations nationwide, and on average respond to in excess of 12,000 jobs per year.
ICH utilised a PDA job management system. From job planning to recommended works all services are digitised in order uphold a full audit trail. Everything on the system is tracked and every engineer can store and recall information from the handheld PDA. All service sheets and information is created realtime including cost calculating, reporting and invoicing.
ICH is a financially strong business committed to protecting jobs and compliance for our clients. ICH aims to reduce exposure by only maintaining what the business can handle in any given year. No single client in the portfolio accounts for more than 5% of turnover, this reduces risk to the business but also allows ICH to maintain a fair treatment of all customers and offer a truly uniform service.
ICH is a true maintenance company. Traditional contractors usually win installation work before offering a maintenance service. The majority of competitors generate most of their revenue from installation rather than maintenance. ICH takes a different approach by tailoring specific customers requirement to maintain equipment and increase its longevity and reduce costs. ICH is an investor in people and this is key to our success.
ICH is a big believer in innovation. They achieve better cost management by utilising economies of scale and skill to further improve the ICH service offering. ICH have recently utilised a change in all the company fleet to reduce drag, weight and fuel consumption. ICH have also invested in many new innovative carbon efficient technologies such as sustainable heating equipment, SMART Controls, PV solar, LED, carbon free heating and new upcoming hydrogen technologies.
